The Story of a Photographer

In my years of capturing moments I have come to the conclusion that photos capture life. My grandmother passed away in 2015 and I was searching for videos & photos of her and I, but I couldn't find any. My fear was as time progressed I would forget how she looked and sound. I didn't want anyone else to experience that loss, hence the start of my journey in photography.

When you look through the history of photography, people created art by capturing their environments. Even going back to the Civil Rights, there's beauty in the struggle. Great photographers such as Ernest Withers, Charles Moore and Bob Adelman were able to tell vivid stories from their perspectives using their cameras. My goal is to tell stories within anything I capture in the frame of my camera.
